A Grid-Connected PV System Based on Quasi-Z-Source Inverter With Maximum Power Extraction

This paper proposes an approach to link photovoltaic arrays with the AC grid using Z-source inverter (ZSI) and quasi-Z-source (QZSI) topologies. These topologies boost DC-link voltage invert it in one stage, resulting a reduction overall system size cost. The presents control technique that fixes on bridge terminals, tracks maximum power point (MPPT), controls amount quality of injected into unity factor. proposed algorithm utilizes two independent variables, shoot-through duty cycle (ST) modulation index, decouple DC sides. effectiveness is verified through simulations grid-connected PV system. results demonstrate can efficiently extract from while regulating ensuring factor operation. Additionally, experimental testing ZSI/QZSI further confirms analysis simulation.
